All persons, excluding those who are visiting the Property Appraiser’s office or the Tax Collector’s office and Attorneys who posses a Bar card, will be screened and/or searched upon entering the Walton County Courthouse.  A person with an Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED) or Pacemaker implant may request a private screening or hand wand screening.  Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, any and all weaponry and firearms.  All confiscated items will be given to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Evidence Custodian.
