First Judicial Circuit Chief Judge John Miller has determined that, due to continued constraints necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, civil jury trials will not be held in Escambia County and Santa Rosa County until June 1, 2021, at the earliest. Circuit leadership will reassess the situation in approximately 45 days to determine whether June 1 is a feasible date for resumption of civil jury trials, and will provide any available updates as soon as possible.
