EMERGENCY MATTERS When submitting Probate & Guardianship Orders in emergency matters such as Mental Health Incapacity and Emergency Guardianship cases, or approved emergencies, please type EMERGENCY MATTER in both the Subject Line of your email and in the Title of the Petition.

SUBMITTING ORDERS TO JUDGE FOR ENTRY
HELPFUL INFORMATION:
- Original Wills should be mailed or hand delivered to the Okaloosa County Clerk’s office and docketed prior to the submission of Orders Admitting the Will to Probate.
- Orders on Annual Guardianship Reports awaiting an audit by the Okaloosa County Clerk’s Inspector General’s office may be submitted once the annual report is filed, and will be held until the audit is complete.
NOTE: Except as indicated above, no orders should be submitted before all supporting documentation is docketed and the period of notice or creditor’s claim’s period has expired (if applicable).Orders prematurely filed may be returned as improperly or untimely filed.
